Regulation (EU) No 1227/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2011 on wholesale market integrity and transparency (REMIT), requires the owners of power stations to make publicly available information on the current status and availability of their production assets. Regulation (EU) No 1227/2011 became effective on 28 December 2011.
Scira Offshore Energy Limited provides information on the current status and availability of its generation assets to the National Grid, in accordance with its obligations under Operating Code No. 2 (OC2) of the GB Grid Code. This information is reported back to the market in aggregate format, mainly through the Balancing Mechanism Reporting Service (BMRS, www.bmreports.com), in accordance with the Balancing & Settlement Code (BSC). In addition, Scira Offshore Energy Limited makes publicly available through its website, Balancing Mechanism Unit (BMU) planned outage information greater than or equal to 100 MW, for the current week to 52 weeks ahead.
